Mickey Comer, Builder
Mickey has more than 28 years of experience in home building and is responsible for all phases of construction from initial design to completion of the phenomenal finished product.
Mickey’s ability to envision the final product can be attributed to his innate talent, knowledge, skill and passion to see that vision realized. His knowledge in all phases of construction and his unparalleled dedication to superior quality and customer service are what make his homes so unique.
Mickey is a member of the Texas Panhandle Builders Association; he has served as its president and has held other positions at TPBA including committees service. He is also a member of the re-modelers council of TPBA, the Texas Association of Builders, the National Association of Homebuilders, the Amarillo Chamber of Commerce, the Amarillo Better Business Bureau and the National Federation of Independent Businesses.
Mickey was raised in Canyon and is a lifelong Amarillo area resident. He and wife Pebbie have been married for 39 years and have a son, Chris, daughter-in-law Jamie and granddaughter Kayden. He enjoys being Papa to Kayden, golfing with his son, fishing anytime he gets the chance and grilling outdoors.
Kline Rosenbach, Construction Supervisor
Kline brings over 12 years of custom home building experience to the team. Kline grew up in
Amarillo and spends his time working, hanging out with his family and friends and playing with
his dog Toby.
He is extremely “particular” in his vision of the finished product. He has a wonderful eye for
perspective of how that finished product should look and come together.
His ability to communicate with homeowners and subcontractors has earned him the respect of
all who work with him.
Kline is a member of TPBA and has served on several Parade of Homes committees and
remodeler council projects. Kline serves as a construction supervisor and works with Mickey to
oversee every aspect of construction.
Pebbie has 28 years of experience in decorating homes and other projects. She is responsible for most
of the décor decisions made during construction. She is very hands on, working with her clients to help
bring their ideas and desires to the finished project.
Her vision for the finished product is what helps coordinate her clients’ ideas and wishes into their new
home or remodel. Pebbie’s skill for creating magazine beautiful homes and her dedication to customer
service while working thru Mickey and Kline, are what make each project unique to each client.
Through Comer Custom builders, Pebbie is a member of the TPBA and has served on various TPBA
committees in past years. She is a certified Re-Design interior decorator and a certified Color Specialist with Benjamin Moore Paint.
Pebbie moved to Canyon with her family in 1969 after living in Corpus Christi, Brenham and College
Station. She married her high school sweetheart Mickey, and they have been a team for almost 40
years. She enjoys being a wife, sister, aunt, friend, decorator and especially GOGO to her grandkids.
She graduated from West Texas State University. She loves animals and helping rescue dogs. She
enjoys volunteering at Palo Duro Canyon.
For the past 10 years, Sassy has been the “official” greeter at Comer Custom Builders. Her job is to alert the office that someone has arrived; the delivery person, the mail carrier, sub contractors or clients
and their children, are all given a welcoming round of barking. Sassy enjoys being petted and loves
performing for puppy treats. Her specialty is dancing and trying to sound like a rooster. She is well
trained in smashing pillows and laying anywhere she is not supposed to be. She helps make decorating decisions in the color room by laying on carpet or wood samples. She does not like dressing up but will do anything for a puppy treat. She really likes playing ball and hide- n- go- seek at home. She enjoys a “spoiled” doggie life with Mickey and Pebbie.
